The Receptive Ear
In "The Receptive Ear" 888GOYA is making available to members and friends of the General Anthroposophical Society a forum for expressing their thoughts, concerns, and viewpoints to the anthroposophical public, and especially to the Board of Directors in Dornach. It is the purpose of "The Receptive Ear" to provide space for meaningful encounters and constructive dialogue.

A distinguished senior member of the Berkshire-Taconic Branch of the Anthroposophical Society in America, Professor Leonard Benson, who has been noticing disturbing parallels between Washington, DC, and Dornach politics for years, wrote this letter in March of 2007. Since the writer of the letter is not a member of the GELEBTE WEIHNACHTSTAGUNG / LIVING THE CHRISTMAS CONFERENCE., the editor complained quite freely about its members, without, however, substantiating the complaints or addressing any of the issues the letter raises. He did not mention intending to publish the letter.
The mass expulsion of GW/LCC members has now been finalized, yet Professor Benson's letter raises some issues of lasting relevance.
